Since I transferred the content from my website MarcBaumann.com (where this post was originally published) and had to deal with a couple of technical issues (the comments of this post were not included in the transfer), I would like to add these comments manually:

I am specially grateful for this information about BWE because I didn’t make it this year. From everybody’s tweets, I can see all of you had a great time. My question is, was it more like a vacation or like a business trip?

I responded:
Dave, this was a business trip - with a lot of fun!

Thank you for the great comments, and the link Marc!
I am very happy to hear you enjoyed your time at the show and found it a valuable experience on the business front as well.
As for the Sahara, you were not alone. We had several speakers complain about them as well. While I have stayed there myself in the past they seem to have gone way downhill since my last stay. They are fired and will not be in the blog for our next event.

I responded:
Thanks, Rick! It was a great conference! See you next year!
